Exodus 32:2-4

2So Aaron said to them, “Take off the arings of gold that are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” 3So all the people took off the rings of gold that were in their ears and brought them to Aaron. 4 bAnd he received the gold from their hand and fashioned it with a graving tool and made a golden

Exodus 32:21

21And Moses said to Aaron, eWhat did this people do to you that you have brought such a great sin upon them?”

Deuteronomy 9:19-20

19For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure that the Lord bore against you, so that he was ready to destroy you. fBut the Lord listened to me that time also. 20And the Lord was so angry with Aaron that he was ready to destroy him. And I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.

And I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. 12For you did it secretly, mbut I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.’” 13 nDavid said to Nathan, o“I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David, p“The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die. 14Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly qscorned the Lord,
